10" Double Line Stop May 20, 2010 The Jack Farrelly Company's Service Department performed a 10" Double Line Stop on a line that runs about 130 PSI for A. Pereira Construction out of Ludlow, MA on their ongoing Rt. 5 Bridge rehabilitation job in Enfield, CT. Our service department installed and completed 2- 10" Water Main taps as well, Once the 10" taps were completed A. Pereira then ran a new section of pipe between the two tapping valves, re-routing the 10" water line to the other side of the bridge. After the new section was approved to be put in service, The Jack Farrelly Company Service Department did a 10" Line Stop on either side of the bridge, inside of where the Tapping Sleeve and valves were installed to allow the contractor to cut and cap, and abandon the old section of pipe that ran under the bridge.
